General Info

• the Lumenera are a relatively new race in the State of the Dream. Not a lot of races trust them, as they are mysterious and young. The Sindri especially look down on them, because they have been on the State of the Dream the longest, and don't welcome a new race all that readily.

• they have the fantastical trait of biolumenescance, which means that they glow or light up on certain parts of their body. This is a trait passed down from their very early generations, who lived constantly in the dark of the Terror. Over time, and after their migration to the Dream, it grew to where they only lit up at night.

Distinguishing Physical Features

• the Lumenera basically look like humans, except for tribal-like markings that cover their bodies. Their hair is the same color as these markings. These markings, as well as their eyes, light up when they are excited or scared in addition to at night.

• Their markings, eyes, and hair can be any color, but are usually very bright and/or neon colors. Their eyes let off a soft glow whenever it gets dark around them, but really light up at night in the complete darkness.

• being creatures born of light in the darkness, they are experts in light magic. Even the youngest of Lumenera can do a few light magic tricks with nothing but their hands. Needless to say, they are a good friend to have to light up the dark.

Behavioral Attributes

• this species keeps to themselves mostly, which is one of the reasons that the other races don't really trust them. They have their own locked in lands, and don't like to venture out into other lands unless they have to.
