On the southern side of the No Man's Land, there is a slightly curling peninsula that juts out suddenly from the main land into the Perdita Ocean. There are extremely tall trees that live here in sparse frequency that grow large thorns instead of fruits or buds, which is where the peninsula got its name. Some creatures harvest these thorns to use them as weapons, because they are large and the wood is extremely strong.
